THE JENNY WILSON TRIO: will perform a jazz concert, “Sound Color Words,” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Tanner Theatre at Monongalia Arts Center. Made up of Jenny Wilson on piano and vocals, Nathan Wilson on bass, and Evan Lintz on drums, the area trio will be accompanied by West Virginia poet laureate Marc Harshman. During their concert, the artists will explore connecting words and music in an improvised performance of music and poetry. MACGLEE CHORAL ENSEMBLE: The MACglee community choral group is now beginning registration for the winter/spring season. THE SPRING INDOOR FLEA MARKET: will be held from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday-Saturday in the Mountaineer Mall. There will be an array of donated household items and independent sellers with gently loved trinkets, toys, and clothing. This is a fundraising event for the Northern West Virginia Dance Council, which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to dance education and creating performance opportunities for dancers in Morgantown and surrounding communities.The council is home to Morgantown Dance Studio and the Morgantown Ballet Company. All proceeds will go towards upgrades in the studio spaces.

MONONGALIA ARTS CENTER: hosts a Welsh/ Appalachian culture and heritage exhibition, “Curers, Charms and Curses,” showcasing work that depicts the similarities between people, landscape and history of the people of Wales and Appalachia. Show runs through June 1.

MORGANTOWN ART ASSOCIATION: at Mountaineer Mall on Green Bag Road hosts its “Exhibit 60” show through May. SZILAGYI CENTER IN ROWLESBURG: is open from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturdays and noon-4 p.m. Sundays, through October. Visit the World War II Museum and the Sports Museums. There is also an exhibit of the early B & O Bridges which was on display at the Centennial Celebration of the B & O Railroad. The Emporium offers antiques, collectibles, hand crafted items, souvenirs and more.
EASTON ROLLER MILL TOURS: The Easton Roller Mill (on Easton Mill Road, 300 yards from the intersection with U.S. 119 at the bottom of Airport Hill) will be open for tours from 2-5 p.m. on the fourth Sundays of each month, May-September. The tours are free. Last operational in 1940, the mill machinery will be demonstrated during the tours. The mill has been renovated and it now possible to observe the mill engine turning wheels and connecting belts, which power the grist stone, corn crusher, roller mills and elevators. Dates: May 26, June 23, July 28, Aug. 25 and Sept. 22.
ARTHURDALE HERITAGE: five-building museum complex on W.Va. 92 in Preton County is open from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturdays and 1-3 p.m. Sundays through October. Guided tours available. The Craft Shop featuring regional artisans’ items will be open during those hours. Proceeds benefit the ongoing historical preservation projects for the nation’s first New Deal homestead subsistence community championed by Eleanor Roosevelt.
