WHEELING — Caitlyn Kassay tossed 17 strikeouts, leading the Clay-Battelle High softball team to its first OVAC title after a 4-0 win over Bridgeport (Ohio) on Saturday.
She pitched all seven innings and got the win, allowing just two hits and two walks.
The Cee-Bees (23-1) collected five hits offensively. Two of their four runs were unearned.
