Shane Joel “D.J. Lukewarm” Dameron, 44, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 18, 1974, in Welch, a son of Faith Ann (Hollis) Dameron and Robert Stephen Dameron and his wife, Wanda.
He was a landscaper for Yoder’s Lawn Care and was a disc jockey. He was the founder of “Cluster Funk” at 123 Pleasant St., in Morgantown.
In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his stepbrother, Aubrey Dickerson; and aunts and uncles, Samuel L. Hollis, Frances W. Zepp and her husband, Paul, and Robert D. Hollis and his wife, Pamela. In addition to his family, he is also survived by many wonderful friends and his dog, Mr. Pickles.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Reuben G. and Jewel M. Hollis and Hilbert S. and Nina Dameron; and an uncle, David F. Hollis and his wife, Patty Hollis.
Hastings Funeral Home has been entrusted with cremation arrangements and memorial service details will be announced at a later date.
