FAIRMONT — Grace Haines pitched a gem as the Morgantown High softball team cruised to an easy 10-0 victory over Fairmont Senior on Monday.
Haines got the win and pitched all four innings, allowing only one hit, one walk, and collecting seven strikeouts.
The Mohigans (15-3) struck early offensively, scoring six runs in the first two innings. They collected nine total hits in the contest.
Breonna Marietta led MHS at the plate, finishing the game 2-for-2 with four RBIs. Brooke Pyles finished the game 2-for-3.
