Margaret Ellen Hershman, 83, of Terra Alta, died Thursday, April 11, 2019, at home surrounded by family.
The daughter of the late Dana and Bessie Wable Howell, she was born August 29, 1935, in Kingwood.
She was a member of the Terra Alta Church of the Nazarene. Margaret was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Jesse Hershman; one son and spouse, Tim and Karen Hershman, of Terra Alta; a sister and spouse, Phyllis and George Wilhelm, of Albright; two brothers, Roger Howell, of Uniontown and Lloyd Howell and wife Shirley, of Kingwood; one very special granddaughter, Tory Beth Hershman; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Barbara Cuppett, Mary Lou Patterson and Betty Scott; and a brother, Junior Howell.
Family and friends will be received at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta, from 4 – 8 p.m. on Friday, and from 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, until the 11 a.m. time of service with the Rev. Gene David Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the Terra Alta Cemetery.
