MORGANTOWN — The University High baseball team committed two errors in a 5-3 loss to Linsly on Tuesday afternoon.
Casey Smith led the Hawks offensively, finishing the game 2-for-4 at the plate. Smith also got the loss, pitching six innings and allowing four runs on seven hits, and tallying five strikeouts.
Aaron Forbes went 1-for-4 and brought home two runs.
University (5-8) will play again at 5 p.m. today at Wheeling Park.
