Parkersburg girls defeat South Charleston 66-50

CHARLESTON — The Big Reds (25-1) went on one of their trademark runs late in the half, getting eight straight points from Bre Wilson to take a 15-point lead into the break, as Parkersburg defeated South Charleston 66-50.

Wilson had 18 points to go along with Shay-Lee Kirby’s 19. Aleea Crite grabbed 14 rebounds.

Maliha Witten scored 18 for South Charleston (21-6) and Lavendar Ward added 13. Lashae Watts had 14 boards and nine points.
