MORGANTOWN — Your Community Foundation of North Central West Virginia Inc. recently announced its 2019 Board of Directors leadership team in a press release.
The board includes: Chair James Griffin, of Harrison County; Vice Chair J.D. Mann, of Preston County; Treasurer Thomas Aman, Harrison County; and Secretary Robert Greer, of Harrison County.
“I am very excited to continue the great work started by my predecessors,” Griffin said in the release.
“YCF will continue to lead by example and stay in tune with community groups through fundraising initiatives, local committee participation and partnerships. This will allow us to continue strengthening the north-central West Virginia region by providing an effective method to retain the wealth and assets of our community and help our citizens make the most of a variety of charitable giving options.”
The board of directors also welcomed Neshia Bridges, who is from Marion County and is the branch manager at Bridgeport Chase Bank. She is a Fairmont State graduate, a former boutique owner and former manager at Sam’s Club in Clarksburg, the release said.
Billy Atkins, of Monongalia County; Jean Clark of Preston County; Ranjit Majumder, of Monongalia County; Michael Malfregeot, of Harrison County; Ginna Royce, of Monongalia County; Gerard Schmidt, of Marion County; and Emeritus Member Billy Coffindaffer, of Monongalia County, remain on the board.
YCF offers assistance to qualified people, programs and projects in the north-central West Virginia area through philanthropy promotions and endowments. According to the release, the goal “is always to enhance the quality of life within our community.”
