MORGANTOWN — While Will Grier and Yodny Cajuste are skipping the Camping World Bowl, but plan to compete in the Senior Bowl, tight end Trevon Wesco has a different perspective on it.
Wesco accepted an invite to the Senior Bowl on Dec. 5, and while he’s already going through the process of looking ahead to his professional career, skipping his last game at West Virginia wasn’t an option.
“Nah, I really want to play and I’m looking forward to it,” Wesco said. “As far as going pro, I hope it happens. I’ve been putting the work in so hopefully it happens, God willing.”
As for the Senior Bowl, played Jan. 26 in Mobile, Ala., Wesco looks forward to playing with “the best of the best” and will work out at any position, whether it’s tight end, fullback or offensive line.
