MORGANTOWN — A storm brewing off the New England coast just might make things a little more seasonal this week in north-central West Virginia, AccuWeather said.
After a morning high of 52 today, meteorologist Matt Greene says to expect the mercury to take the elevator down to around 30, throughout the day and evening.
Look for snow for the middle of the week also, he said.
AccuWeather is calling for flurries and occasional snow showers in the Morgantown area with the possibility of 1-3 inches in Preston County’s higher climes by Wednesday.
“But with this system,” Greene said, “it’s going be more about the cold.”
Cold, as in projected highs of 34 on Tuesday, 32 on Wednesday and 38 for Thursday.
Warming trends in the 40s to around 50 are expected to move back in by Friday and the weekend, he said
