MORGANTOWN — Two area men face drug charges after police recovered marijuana and a firearm from two residences.
Gador Peter Wal, 20, and Gatrak Peter Wal, 19, of Morgantown, were both charged with possession with intent to manufacture and deliver marijuana and conspiracy to sell and deliver marijuana.
According to a criminal complaint: During the past several weeks, Morgantown Police Department detectives received information and initiated an investigation into reported drug sales in the area of Stewart Street. As a result of the investigation, officers found the suspects and obtained arrest and search warrants for 412 Stewart St. and 850 Idlewood Drive.
On Oct. 3, officers served those search warrants and recovered about 1.44 pounds of marijuana and a firearm.
The men are being held pending trial.
