Sentencing delayed for former Taco Bell employee

MORGANTOWN — Monongalia County Circuit Judge Russell Clawges granted a motion to continue sentencing for Chad Campbell, 34, in a case involving sexual assault of a minor teenager.
Clawges reset sentencing for Aug. 24.
It was explained that Campbell is asking for probation, but first had to undergo a mandatory evaluation, the results of which will not be available for two to three weeks.
Campbell, an employee at the Westover Taco Bell, convinced two teenage girls who were drive-through customers to meet him in a secluded area near the restaurant where he showed them explicit photographs and performed a sex act with one of the girls, who was 14 years old at the time.
