DANIELS — David Bradshaw’s first bogey of the 2018 West Virginia Open didn’t stop him from separating himself from the rest of the field.
His 5-under par 66 on Thursday, at the Resort at Glade Springs, put him at 13-under through two rounds, six strokes better than Bridgeport’s Mason Williams.
Bradshaw is attempting to become just the second golfer with at least 10 W.Va. Open championships. Sam Snead holds the record with 14 titles.
Morgantown’s Ryan Bashour leads all local golfers. He shot an even-par 71 and is three-over for the tournament and is tied for 24th place. Morgantown’s Tyler Franklin is tied for 29th at four-over.
The final round is today.
Bradshaw bogeyed the par-4, 433-yard No. 11 — his second hole of the round — but finished with six birdies, including three of his final five holes.
