KINGWOOD — State Police arrested a Tunnelton man Saturday who evaded police last week.
Earl E. Inscore III, 44, was sought by police for violations of home confinement. On Thursday he was a passenger in a car parked along Camp Ground Road. When police stopped, he escaped on foot.
Inscore was in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail Monday in lieu of $75,000 bond. He is charged with two counts of domestic battery and failure by a convicted sex offender to register with State Police.
According to the criminal complaint by Trooper First Class J.T. Wood, on July 15 he was called to a Grimmtown Road address by people who heard a woman screaming for help. A woman told him Inscore was hallucinating that a man was hiding in the house and had physically abused her.
On July 6 he had grabbed the woman’s hair, thrown her around, stood on top of her, choked her and kneed her in the ribs, she said. On July 7, Inscore cut her hands with a knife as she defended herself. On July 13, he punched her in the face, she reported.
The officer saw the cuts and observed the woman had a bruised eye, he said.
