Clarence Cecil Teets, 70, of Bruceton Mills (Hazelton Community), passed away July 15, 2018, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital.
The son of the late Rollin A. and Dorothy J. Smith Teets, he was born October 24, 1947, in Baltimore.
Cecil was a member of the Hazelton Church of the Brethren and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was retired from Bell-Atlantic as a cable splicer, and after his retirement, he enjoyed working on the farm, spending time with his family and friends and doing carpentry.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Fike Teets; a son, and his wife, Jeffrey and Melanie Teets, and their three children, Jessica Coole and husband, Shane, and their daughter, Surra, and Jacob and Catherine Teets; a son and his wife, Andrew and Melissa Teets, and their daughter, Amelia; and two brothers, Eugene Teets and his wife, Ronna, and Allen Teets and his wife, Carol.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service for Cecil at the Hazelton Church of the Brethren in Hazelton, from 1 -2 p.m. on Sunday, July 22, with the service in the church to follow with Pastor Steve Wotring officiating.
Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills will be providing cremation.
