Man killed in UTV accident in Mannington

MORGANTOWN — One man was killed in a UTV accident Thursday afternoon in Marion County.
At about 2 p.m., crews were called to the scene of an accident on Damson Road, off Plum Run Road, in Mannington.
According to Jason Bearden, chief deputy of the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, two brothers, Eric Garner and Russell Garner, were traveling on Damson Road, when the side-by-side UTV they were driving wrecked into a rut and rolled onto the driver’s side.
Russell Garner was killed in the accident.
Eric Garner’s condition is unknown.
The incident is still under investigation, and no charges are pending at this time.
