Charleston museum offers free summer activities

CHARLESTON — The West Virginia State Museum at the Culture Center, State Capitol Complex in Charleston will host summer programs on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays during summer break. All activities will take place in the museum education rooms and are free.
Every Tuesday, come and watch movies, which are part of the “Summer Campy Movie Series.” They begin at 10 a.m. and will repeat throughout the day. Running time determines when each movie will repeat.
Make a new craft each Thursday and Saturday. Painting, working with clay, crayons, markers and other craft materials will be used for projects each week. Craft activities will also be from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. starting today. Parents are welcome to join.
