Joan Forman, 83, of Morgantown, passed away Monday, April 30, 2018, at the Point Manor Personal Care Home.
She was born Sept. 26, 1934, in Monongalia County, a daughter of the late Roy Webster and Roseann (King) Brooks.
She was a member of the Fairmont Association of the Deaf and the West Virginia Association of the Deaf.
She is survived by her sons, Byron Forman, of Maidsville, and Brady Forman and his wife, Paula, of Parkersburg; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Connie Thomas.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Brinley Forman; daughter-in-law, Candy Jo Forman; three sisters; and one brother.
Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from noon Sunday, May 6, until the 2 p.m. funeral service with Pastor Ray Frankhouser officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, in Pisgah.
