Ami’s Clayworks Studio hosts exhibit, sale

MORGANTOWN — Ami’s Clayworks Studio will be open from 1-5 p.m. Saturday-Sunday at her studio building on University Avenue at Walnut Street.
Along with the usual range of designs, Hirata will offer fanciful and functional stoneware. Her pots range from household items such as small carafes and bowls, and a variety of larger casseroles, platters and serving dishes, and tea sets.
Her vases and flower holders are notable in form and in her own glaze colors and surfaces. All designs are one-of-a-kind and either hand thrown or slab built.
There will be refreshments, and customers may also place orders for future delivery if items are sold out. Make sure to check out the half-price tables. Every item is dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe.
Ami’s Clayworks Studio is upstairs at 1301 University Ave., look for the sandwich board sign on the sidewalk. Public parking is across University Avenue.
