MORGANTOWN — Morgantown High’s girls’ tennis team won a match April 11 while dropping just one game. Remarkably, the Mohigans managed to improve on that performance April 12.
MHS (13-1) pitched a perfect match against Buckhannon-Upshur, beating the Bucs, 7-0, and winning every pairing 8-0.
That came a day after a 7-0 win against Parkersburg South.
Next up for the Mohigans, though, is Parkersburg, at a mixer Saturday that also involves Ravenswood. Parkersburg is the only team to beat the Mohigans so far this year.
