MORGANTOWN — One lane of I-79 South was closed for about an hour Wednesday April 11 following a three-vehicle accident.
Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Al Kisner said passengers from all three vehicles involved were taken to the hospital.
Kisner said there didn’t appear to be any life-threatening injuries, though one passenger appeared to have a broken femur.
A total of four people were taken to the hospital.
Kisner explained that the cause of the accident remains under investigation.
