MORGANTOWN — WVU junior left fielder Kyle Davis bypassed his final season of eligibility to turn pro with the Houston Astros.
The Astros announced the signings of Davis and nine other draft picks June 20.
Houston picked Davis in the 15th round. He becomes the third former Mountaineers players in the organization, joining pitcher Chad Donato and outfielder Bobby Boyd.
Davis hit .316 this season, with 10 home runs and 44 RBIs.
