BRUCETON MILLS — The Bruceton Mills exit of I-68 westbound was closed for about two hours Feb. 5 after a six-vehicle accident near Mile Marker 19.
West Virginia State Police Trooper First Class J.T. Wood said, “there was a tow service towing a vehicle out of the median, and there’s a sharp turn there and vehicles were trying to merge and one of the vehicles lost control and all the other vehicles ended up crashing.”
Four people were transported to the hospital for treatment of what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries, the trooper said.
The accident occurred before 8:30 a.m and is still under investigation.
