Randolph Lee White, 73, of Kingwood, passed away unexpectedly, in his sleep, Friday, February 28, 2025, in his home. He was born April 9, 1951, a son to the late Charles Ray White and Barbara Titchenell White.
He was a 1969 graduate of Kingwood High School.
Randy was employed by several businesses throughout his lifetime including ChemMetals and FedEx.
He was well known for his delicious turtle soup, a dish that family and friends always looked forward to. He had a deep love for the outdoors and spent much of his time camping, hunting and fishing, always embracing the peace and adventure nature had to offer.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ellen Crogan White; two sons, Randolph “Dolph” White and Mandy Miller of Kingwood, and Garrett and Rae White of Durham, N.C.; five beloved grandchildren, Kiersten White, Cory (Delaney) White, Elizabeth White, River Miller and Ryken White; along with one great-grandson, Jameson White; his sister, Buffie (Perry) Segal of Long Beach, Calif.; brother, James (Robina) White of Kingwood; his sister-in- law, Alyson Crogan Armstrong; and brother- in-law, P.J. (Jane) Crogan, both of Kingwood; sister-in-law, Ann (Curt) Hunt of Midlothian, Va.; as well as several nieces and nephews, all of whom Randy loved very much.
He was preceded in death by his sister-in- law, Patricia Crogan; his niece, Pamela Radcliff; and his nephew, Max Rossi.
Randy was a member of the Kingwood Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Due to his declining health over the past years, he would continue his ministry by letter-writing to encourage all to look to the Bible for comfort and for answers to our problems.
Friends will be received from 12 noon until the time of service at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 15, in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 218 E. High Street, Kingwood. A graveside service will immediately follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
