On Saturday, March 1, 2025, Beth Anne Weatherholt-Cook, 50, of Morgantown, passed away in her home with her mother by her side, following a long illness.
Born March 2, 1974, in Morgantown, she was a daughter of Susan “Susie” Lorraine Cook, with whom she currently made her home.
Beth was well known for her wit, humor and sarcasm. She loved watching comedies and documentaries.
In the months before her passing, she realized the need for Jesus Christ and accepted him as her Savior. She was blessed to celebrate her 51st birthday, a day after her passing, in the arms of Jesus.
In addition to her mother, Susie, survivors include a brother, Erich Weatherholt (Lacie) of Eau Claire, Wis.; sisters, Shawna Weatherholt (Brandon) of Winchester, Va., and Jennifer Weatherholt of Pittsburgh, Pa.; a goddaughter, Nikki Jefferson of Morgantown; and her very special friend, Dr. Kristen Bell.
Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Glenn W. and Lorraine Cook, formerly of Star City, and Denzil N. and Leona Weatherholt, formerly of Bertha Hill; and cousins, William Earl Cook, Travis Murray, and Brian Davis.
Beth’s family would like to give thanks to the hospice nursing staff at WV Caring, Pastor Kevin Cain and her church family at Kingdom: A Community Church, for the prayers and support. Special thanks also goes to Dennis, Beth’s chaplain.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
