Clarence Wilbur Lemley, Jr.

Clarence Wilbur Lemley, Jr., a cherished husband, beloved father, and skillful electrician, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at his home in Core, West Virginia.
Born on March 3, 1940, in Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania, he leaves behind a legacy of love and craftsmanship, having dedicated two decades as an electrician at West Virginia University Health Sciences Center before his well-earned retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Lemley, Sr. and Mary King Lemley, and his loving son, Robert ‘Bob’ Lemley.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Charlotte Weber Lemley; his son, Ronald Lemley (Melody); sister, Betty Jean Dawson; grandchildren, Alicia Eddy and Hayley Lemley; great-granddaughter, Piper Eddy; nephew, Dave Lemley (Laura); and his great-nieces, Shawna Smith (Tim) along with their children and Chara Lemley.
Known widely as a jack of all trades, Clarence could often be found tinkering in his garage. He was also a natural mechanic and farmer. While he had given up hunting, he maintained his love for the outdoors and adventure, especially when riding his 4-wheeler with great-granddaughter Piper by his side.
Friends and family are invited to gather at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Thursday, January 2, 2024 from 2 to 6 p.m. and again on Friday, January 3, 2024 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ray Fluharty officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Delmar Chapel through Amber Gaines at 352 Lower Hildebrand Road Morgantown, WV 26501.
