Twyla Jo Wolfe left this world Christmas Eve, Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at the age of 69, in UPMC Washington Hospital in Washington. Born October 26, 1955, in Morgantown, she devoted her life to bringing joy and care to all who knew her.
Twyla is deeply cherished and remembered by her loving husband of 43 years, Eric Wolfe; her daughter Terica Springer and husband Clint of Ardmore, Pa.; her son, Joshua Wolfe and wife Tamara of Blacksville; her adoring mother, Nola Jean Saffle Jamison of Morgantown; her brother, Randy Little and wife Jeanette of Dayton, Ohio; her stepbrother, Melvin and wife Lynne Ott. She also leaves behind a legacy of love with her grandchildren, Lily, Caden and Caleb Springer; a stepgranddaughter, Mackenzie Chase; and step- grandson, Landon Chase; her niece, Maddie Little; nephew, Nicholas Little; cousins, Connie McClure and Vernon Smith.
Throughout her years at WVU Hospital in housekeeping, Twyla’s kind and loving nature was known to all. She not only maintained spaces of healing, but also fostered an environment of warmth and compassion for every person who crossed her path. She enjoyed nurturing her house plants and ensuring their growth in her home.
Twyla was preceded in death by her father, Brian Little; her stepfather, Vernon Jamison; and several aunts and uncles.
Family and friends may gather in McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Morgantown, from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, December 30. Visitation will continue from 10 until 11 a.m., the time of a funeral service, Tuesday, December 31. Following the service, Twyla will be laid to rest at Beverly Hills Cemetery.
