Gary Allen Stiles

Gary Allen Stiles, 86, of Blacksville, died Thursday, November 7, 2024, in the Morgantown Healthcare Center in Morgantown.
He was born May 15, 1938, at Hundred, a son of the late Charles Theodore Stiles and Mary Alice White Stiles.
Gary was retired from Eastern/Peabody Coal Company, where he worked as a mine foreman.
Mr. Stiles was a member of the Blacksville United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Waynesburg Masonic Lodge #153.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Surviving are his wife, Bertha Jane Tennant Stiles; children, Garra Lynn Shapiro of Clearwater, Fla., Kimi Lea Grojean (Jim) of Sebring, Fla., Mary Alice Rush (Jeff) of Blacksville, Lori Ann Allison of Hollywood, Fla., Robin Allyn Stiles of Oakton, Va., Crystal Levaughn Stiles of Tallahassee, Fla., and Gary Wayne Stiles of Fairmont; eight grandchildren, Jared Shapiro, Danielle Grojean, Samantha Phillips (Jesse), Zackery Rush (Andrea), Douglas Norton (Mary), Jacob Stiles, Keely Stiles (John), and Levi Stiles; eight great- grandchildren, Jaxon, Evie, Lincoln, Zadie, Teresa, Emily, Abigail, and Lucy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, November 11, in Blacksville United Methodist Church in Blacksville, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 12, with Pastor John Brosky officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery at Pentress.
