Bob Huggins Fish Fry set for Feb. 1; proceeds benefit Vandalia Health cancer services

MORGANTOWN – The 13th Annual Bob Huggins Fish Fry is set for Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025. Proceeds from the fry, presented by Little General Stores, will benefit the Norma Mae Huggins Cancer Endowment, supporting cancer care services at Vandalia Health, and the Remember the Miners Scholars Program.

The fry will take place at the Hazel & J.W. Ruby Community Center Event Complex at Mylan Park in Morgantown, and will feature a special guest to be announced.

Meg Bulger, WVU Sports Hall of Fame Women’s Basketball player, will return as emcee.

Huggins, legendary former WVU basketball coach and Hall of Famer, said, “We are excited for another year of an event the community loves. The goal remains the same. We want to raise money to fight cancer and continue helping to provide the best healthcare in our state.”

Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and individual and sponsor tickets are on sale now at BobHugginsFishFry.org. The Boston Beanery will cater.

There will be a silent auction offering unique items and experiences, plus an exclusive live auction with rare, in-person-only items.

Multiple sponsorship levels are available, for businesses and individuals to support these causes.
