Alexis Denise Gresko Burns

Alexis Denise Gresko Burns, 78, of Carmichaels, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024, in Ruby Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 28, 1946, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Alex and Mildred Silak Gresko.
A 1964 graduate of Mapletown High School, she had formerly worked as the registration clerk for Cornerstone Care in Greensboro.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, is a brother, Greg Gresko, in 1975.
Surviving are her husband, Lawrence Terry Burns; two children, Todd Burns of Carmichaels, and Melanie Burns of Decatur, Ill.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Tina Gresko of Carmichaels.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, November 4, and 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of service, Tuesday, November 5, in the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, with the Revs. John and Judy Senkinc officiating. Interment follows in Monongahela Hill Cemetery, Greensboro.
