Christina Renee Dodd Wilson, of Booth, WV, known by many as Chrissy, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
Chrissy was born on November 8, 1982, in Fort Knox, KY. She was a daughter of Joyce Drain Dodd and William ‘Bill’ Dodd and his wife Mary.
Chrissy was a 2001 graduate of University High School and graduate of Morgantown Beauty College. Chrissy’s love extended beyond her family and friends to her cherished farm animals. She was known for her spunky attitude.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony ‘Andy’ Wilson, Sr.; daughter, Hayley Wilson; son, Anthony Lee ‘Bubba’ Wilson, Jr.; stepdaughter, Shaye Wilson; brother, Nicholas Dodd; grandmother, Vera Drain; one nephew, Jordan Dodd; three nieces, Alexis, Brianna, and Reygyn Dodd; best friends, Bobbi Jo Hood, Justin Hood; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Darius Drain and her grandmother Margaret Jean Dodd.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating.
Following the funeral, Chrissy will be laid to rest at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses.
