Paul is fondly remembered by his loving wife, Susan J. Henderson Stout, with whom he shared 55 years of beautiful matrimony. Together, they built not just a family, but also the home and other buildings that symbolized their shared labor and love.
He will be dearly missed by his cherished daughters, Samantha Bebout (husband Todd) and Michelle Rohozen (husband Jan; as well as his adored grandchildren, Joshua, Darian, Quentin, and Garrett. His family legacy continues through his surviving brother, Glenn Stout; and several nieces and nephews whose lives he touched deeply.
Dedicated to the coal mining industry, Paul proudly retired after 32 years of service at Humphrey #7, where his commitment to his work was as steadfast as his commitment to his family. His work ethic set a powerful example for all who knew him.
Paul’s faith and commitment to his church were a cornerstone of his life. An active member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, he lived his values through service and fellowship. His leisure time was often spent in the serenity of nature; he was an avid bow hunter who found joy and peace in the woods.
Paul’s was a life well-lived and centered around the simple pleasures: family, faith, and nature. His influence and the quiet strength he embodied will live on through the countless lives he enriched.
Friends are invited to gather at St. Luke Cemetery, Mooresville, WV, on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, where a graveside service will take place at 1 pm, with Pastor Jeffrey Huggins officiating.
