Patricia Jo Trovato Paris, lovingly known as “Nunnie,” passed away peacefully, in home in Huron, Ohio, early Friday morning, October 25, 2024, surrounded by her family. Patricia bravely endured a long journey with dementia, showing remarkable strength and resilience. Born May 3, 1943, in Morgantown, Patricia was the beloved daughter of Joseph “Baby Joe” Trovato and Ruth Madeline Bean.
She graduated from West Virginia University in 1965 with a degree in physical education and a minor in English, sharing her warmth and humor with students at St. Peter’s and Huron City schools, where she became known for her kindness and dedication.
Patricia made a loving home in Huron alongside her devoted husband of 58 years, Anthony J. Paris. She became the heart of her family, radiating unwavering faith, joy and laughter.
Patricia was celebrated for her remarkable skills in the kitchen—her dinners were legendary, and her Christmas cookies brought joy to all. The memories created around her table will be treasured forever by all who had the privilege of gathering there. Her family was Patricia’s greatest pride.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony; her daughter, Danielle; and her two granddaughters, Ashley and Mackenzie, who adored their Nunnie beyond measure.
Patricia’s light shone brightly in her love for family, friends, Jesus, and community, and her gentle yet spirited presence will be remembered always.
The family invites all who knew Patricia to help keep her memory alive by sharing stories, photos, and remembrances of our beloved Nunnie. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, October 31, in Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, followed by a service at 10 a.m. Friday, November 1. She will rest at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
