Linda Sue Parsons, 79, of Morgantown (Westover), passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024, in her home, after a lengthy illness. She was receiving services from hospice care.
A daughter of the late James C. Reckart and Mary K. Wilhelm Reckart, Linda was born January 29, 1945, in Albright (Valley Point Area).
Linda was a graduate of Kingwood High School. She worked for many years at Westover Bank, from which she retired. Linda formerly served as the clerk to the City of Westover, and attended Mt. Calvary Assembly of God Church in Riverside.
Linda is survived by her husband of 58 years, Thomas N. Parsons; one son, Jerry Neal Parsons and wife Sharon Wiggins Parsons of Claremont, Fla.; a sister, Peggy Walls of Albright (Lenox Community); and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Lucille Walls; and a brother, Ronald James Reckart.
At her request, she will be cremated with no viewing or service.
