Mary Teresia Marshall, 76, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024, in Sundale Nursing Home. She was born May 30, 1948, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Paul and Lucille Lefeavers Gray.
She was Apostolic by faith and formerly attended 1st Apostolic Church in Morgantown.
She was employed at Sterling Faucet, Davis and Lynch Glass Factory, and The Wash House.
In her free time, she enjoyed playing bingo, and watching country bands, NASCAR, game shows, and especially WVU Mountaineer football.
She is survived by her children, Gerald Marshall, Jr. and wife Michelle, Eloise Martin and fiance Paul Johnson, and Richard Marshall and wife Melissa; stepdaughter, Poly Minarchik and husband Joe; his siblings, Don Gray, Junior Paul Gray and wife Barbara, Elaine Lipscomb and husband Donald, Marion Lawson, and Betty Kisner and husband John; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Blaine Marshall, who passed away in 2022. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Amanda Marshall; and siblings, Bill, Bob, John, Joe, Doris Gray and Sharon Thompson.
The family would like to give a special thank you to all of the nurses, CNAs and the entire staff of Sundale Nursing Home for all of their years of love and care.
Friends and family will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 11, in Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, where visitation continues Saturday, October 12, from 10 until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m., with Pastor Dolly Sparks officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
