Terry Russell Wolfe Sr., 77, passed away on Sept. 26, 2024, in Morgantown.
Born May 15, 1947, Terry was known for his caring, loving nature and his compassion towards helping others. Terry had a distinguished career as an entrepreneur and retired from Fisher Auto Body, having owned and operated several businesses, including Morgantown Appliance & Repair and Spaceport Arcade.
His entrepreneurial spirit was paralleled by his love for technology and electronics, which was also evident in his personal hobbies. Terry was an avid tennis fan, enjoying both watching and playing the sport and an avid ham radio operator.
He is survived by his long-time companion, Mary Johnson; children, Terry R. Wolfe Ill (Jennifer), Johnathan Eddy (April); Terry R. Wolfe Jr. (Bobbie Jo), and Sandra Wolfe; sister, Janet Chermer; as well as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Barbara Wolfe; and his children, William Wolfe and Dawn Bowlin.
Terry’s life will be remembered and celebrated by family, friends and all who knew him as a compassionate and devoted individual.
Friends and family are invited to gather at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2024, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Terry’s wishes to be cremated will be honored thereafter.
