Sharon Fowler

Sharon Lee Fowler, 80, of Morgantown, passed away at Evergreen Assisted Living on Friday, August 30, 2024.  

She was born March 18, 1944, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Edwin and Mary Jo (Southard) Baker.

Sharon was a 1962 graduate of University High School and a member of Calvary Chapel Morgantown.  

She is survived by her daughters, Beth Impastato and her husband Laurence of Bakersfield, Calif., and Valerie Frasher and her husband Shawn of Morgantown; grandchildren, Frank Impastato and his wife Lyssa of Bakersfield, Calif., Chad Frasher and his wife Samantha of Morgantown, Chris Impastato of Bakersfield, Calif., Jess Frasher and his wife Jessica of Philadelphia, Pa., and Cole Frasher and his wife Alexia of Philadelphia, Pa.; great-grandchildren, Lyla Impastato, Frankie Impastato, Kenna Frasher, Cody Impastato, Laurel Frasher, Wes Frasher; brother, Richard Baker of Morgantown; and many nieces and nephews.  

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Willis Fowler, on Jan. 18, 2024. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Calvary Chapel Morgantown, 493 Tyrone Road, Morgantown, WV 26508. 

Hastings Funeral Home has been entrusted with cremation arrangements. Friends and family will be received at Calvary Chapel Morgantown, 493 Tyrone Road, Morgantown, on Friday, Sept. 6, 2024, from 4 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 5 p.m. with Pastor Shawn Frasher officiating.
