The driver of a motorcycle was transported by ambulance Tuesday afternoon following a two-vehicle accident involving the bike and another vehicle.
According to a press release, Morgantown police and fire departments responded to the call along with Monongalia EMS at approximately 1:24 p.m.
The Suzuki motorcycle and Honda passenger car collided near the intersection of Monongahela Boulevard and Evansdale Drive, near the WVU Coliseum.
The release said the driver of the motorcycle was transported from the scene by Mon EMS for injuries sustained as a result of the collision.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene. The accident is under investigation.
