John William Driscoll, 74, of Big Bear Lake community/Bruceton Mills, passed away at his home, following an extended illness, on Friday, June 7, 2024.
John was born on Feb. 20, 1950, in Baltimore, a son of the late Thomas and Anna Jones Driscoll.
John is survived by his wife, Joann Devanko, whom he married on April 17, 2014; two children, Jaime Driscoll and wife, Janet, of Baltimore, and Michael Driscoll, of Columbia, Md.; a brother, Thomas Driscoll and wife, Linda, of Fallston, Md.; a sister, Joann Driscoll, of Sparrows Point, Md.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and his cherished feline buddies, Neko and Hachi. John and Joann also had another cat, Yoshi, who left them a year and a half ago and who was waiting on him at the end of the rainbow bridge.
John was a loving family man and a jolly Irishman.
John’s request for cremation is being honored by his family. A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.
