Show support on WVU Day of Giving

WVU Day of Giving returns Wednesday, and supporters can earmark donations to go to Rosenbaum Family House.

“Rosenbaum Family House is so special to me because it has allowed me to get radiation in Morgantown without having to drive from Parkersburg, … almost two hours away,” said Sue Lamp, a recent patient who visited with her daughter, Elizabeth Corbitt. “It allows me to have the best state-of-the-art care that is available in West Virginia at a reasonable price that I can afford. It’s a blessing to have an apartment that is beautiful to come ‘home’ after treatment and to be able to rest and relax with a lot of caring staff and wonderful people. I’ve met a lot of other patients, and we have been able to offer each other support. And the staff at Rosenbaum is exceptional. They’re friendly, they know everybody’s name, and why they are here, and they’re just caring and supportive in all ways.”

Make a difference

Rosenbaum Family House counts on passionate, loyal and caring members of the WVU Medicine family to provide important support for patients, families and the greater WVU community.

This year, a gift can help the facility earn more thanks to a Day of Giving challenge from its board of directors. The first 50 gifts of $25 or more will unlock an additional $5,000.
