The Hazel J.W. Ruby Community Center and Sports Complex at Mylan Park invites the community to its Business After Hours event at 5:30 p.m. March 20.
This special occasion will provide an opportunity for community members to explore the new fitness center location and experience the addition of state-of-the-art Peloton bikes.
“Mylan Park is working towards a better member and user experience every day,” said Ron Justice, board president of Mylan Park Foundation. “By hosting the Business After Hours event at our premier facilities, we have the chance to share our exciting progress and new offerings with our neighbors and community leaders who can all benefit from a MyPark Pass membership.”
As part of the event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the new fitness center, which has been designed to elevate the health and wellness experience for all visitors. Attendees can also sign up for the MyPark Pass membership for just $25 each month, which includes unlimited access to the fitness center during regular operating hours along with many other perks.
On top of the facility’s already impressive ambiance, the new fitness center will feature a high-definition TV, a Bluetooth speaker with music streaming capabilities, strategically placed mirrors for optimal workouts, comfortable benches, nooks and coat hooks for members’ belongings.
The highlight of the fitness center, though, is the Peloton bikes, which will offer a cutting-edge and immersive exercise experience. According to Peloton, these commercial bikes will give users unlimited access to live and on-demand classes in a variety of music genres, ability levels and class types.
Attendees at the Business After Hours event will have the chance to test these bikes firsthand.
“We are excited to open our doors to the community for this special event,” said Michael McGovern, general manager at Mylan Park. “The MyPark Pass membership is not just a key to our fitness center; it’s an invitation to a healthier, more vibrant lifestyle. We believe in creating an environment that promotes well-being and look forward to engaging our Business After Hours attendees with the benefits of our MyPark Pass membership.”
