Christabel Miller

Christabel Dolores Miller, affectionately known as Chris, passed away on Jan. 9, 2024. Born on Sept. 13, 1945, in Harrisburg, Pa., Chris lived a life marked by love and selflessness before her final days in Morgantown.

Chris dedicated her life to her family, embodying the role of a nurturing homemaker. Revered for her boundless kindness, she was the beloved wife of the late Gerald Walton Miller. Her legacy of love continues through her three children, Amy Hill and her husband Kevin, Gerald L. Miller and his wife Michele, and Greg Miller with his wife Christy. Chris’s warmth extended to her sister, Faith Taylor; sister, Cheryl Knotts; and brother, Mark Knotts, each a testament to their shared bond. Her memory lives on in her cherished grandchildren, Ciara, Lindsey Rose, Melissa, and Ashley.

Chris’s hands created comfort and beauty through her love of crocheting, an interest that reflected the care she put into everything she did. Her life was a reflection of the love, devotion, and selflessness that she gifted to all who knew her. Chris Miller will be profoundly missed, leaving a tapestry of memories woven with compassion and kindness.

In addition to her parents, Chris was preceded in death by her brother, Albert C. Knotts, Jr.

Family and friends are invited to gather at McCulla Funeral Home from 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13, until the funeral service at noon. Following the funeral service, Chris will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Bethel Cemetery.
