Virginia Wolfe

Virginia “Sally” Wolfe, 83, of Morgantown, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024, at Mon Health Medical Center.

Virginia was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all of her life and would argue with anyone who would contradict her on her faith. She always left a lasting impression with everyone she knew.

Virginia is survived by her son, Aaron (Valarie) Wolfe; daughter, Nancy (Randy) Cottrell; grandchildren, Michael, Caressa, Ashely, Amy, Anna, Deadra, Wendy, Bryan II, Alisha, Randy, Destiney, Aaron, Alexis, and Olivia; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Mikey, Colby, Nathan, Cora, Grace, Lydia, Briley, Jaxon, Olivia, Finely, Daisy, Violet, William, Phoeba, Mavis, Evelyn, Alex, Isaac, Christian, Brandon, Andrew, and Christopher; two sisters-in-law, Linda Maxon and Karen Webb; brother-in-law, Robert Wolfe; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Harry Gene Wolfe; son, Bryan; brothers, Joseph, Jack, Paul, Spike, Buck, and Bob; sisters, Alma, Julia, Geraldine and Nancy; and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Friends and family will be received at Nicholson Chapel, 1346 Summers School Rd., Morgantown, from 2-7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 12. Visitation will continue at Nicholson Chapel on Saturday, Jan. 13, from noon until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. with Bishop Mathew Hart officiating.
