Roberta Lee Wade “Bobbie Lee”, 89, passed away Friday, Sept. 22, 2023, at Harmony at Morgantown. Born June 3, 1934, in Maidsville, she was the daughter of Herman and Mildred Grow Wade. She lived most of her life on Boston Street in the community of Van Voorhis.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation services will be provided. Visitation will be held at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 10 a.m.-noon on Thursday, Sept. 28. A graveside service and inurnment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Westover at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Zac Morton officiating and the United States Air Force providing the flag folding honors. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mon River Trails Conservancy (MRTC) PO Box 282, Morgantown, WV 26507 are appreciated. Her home in Van Voorhis was next to the Rail Trail, which she enjoyed.
