Nina Alice (Christopher) Cole, 89, of Tunnelton, passed away on Friday, Sept. 22, 2023, at Preston Memorial Hospital. She was born on Oct. 1, 1933, in Terra Alta, daughter of the late Archie Elmer and Gladys Faye (Miller) Christopher.
Nina was a Member of the First Pentecostal Church in Tunnelton. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, crafts, gardening and her flowers. Nina especially loved spending time with her family and friends.
Nina is survived by three sons, Terry Lynn Cole and Linda of Tunnelton, Willard “Eddie” Cole and Ruby of Thornton, and Larry Allen Cole and Cindy of Morgantown; four daughters, Judy Carol Haskiell and Joe of Kingwood, Connie Sue Morris and Don of Newburg, Alice Hunt and Ron of Grafton, Katherine Harrison and Ronnie of Kingwood; father of her children, Grover Franklin Cole; 19 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Willard Christopher and Edna Mae of Lady Lake, Fla.; Wayne Christopher of Terra Alta; her companion for twenty-seven years, Joe Costello; her fur-baby, Precious; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Nina is preceded in death by two sons, Franklin Cole, Ricky Cole; one grandson, Larry Cole; one granddaughter, Michelle Bolyard; one brother, Charles Christopher; one sister, Irene Dumire.
Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, from 3-8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 25, and on Tuesday, Sept. 26, from 10 a.m. until time of service at noon with the Rev. Ray Frankhouser officiating. Interment will follow at the Sunset Memorial Gardens. Bolyard Funeral Home is honored to serve the Cole family.
