Terry Wayne Lake, Jr., departed from this world unexpectedly on Sept. 9, 2023, at the young age of 40. Born on June 5, 1983, to the late Tonja and Terry Lake, Sr., he was the youngest child, the baby of the family and without a doubt the most cherished.
He is survived by his children, Mateo Lake, Ean Weygandt, Brinley Gifford and Brookleigh Gifford; his sister, Damia Dobbs; and brothers, Jason Dobbs and Richard Jefferson. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and family friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home from 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2023, until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. with Rev. Claudette Dale officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses.
