Betty Wolfe, born April 7, 1938, passed away at the age of 85 on Monday morning, Aug. 21, 2023, at her home in Westover with her loving family by her side.
Betty proudly lived most of her 85 years on Wolfe Run Road in Sabraton, and for the last seven years, she resided with her cousin Judy Garvey and husband Joe Garvey.
She worked for 38 years as a Data Entry Operator at West Virginia University, but she will be remembered most for her kindness, compassion, and love of dogs
She leaves behind her companion dog and best friend, Penny.
Friends may join the family to honor Betty’s life and legacy at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Ave., Westover/Morgantown from 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26, until the time of the funeral service at noon with her cousin Alan Messier officiating. Interment will follow at the Lawnwood Cemetery in Morgantown.
