Joseph Sakacsi Jr, of Granville, son of the late Joseph and Helen Adams Sakacsi, passed away on July 21, 2023. Joseph was born Dec. 29, 1943, and was a 1961 graduate of University High School. He enlisted in the military shortly thereafter and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. After 37 years of service at Morgantown Machine and Hydraulics he retired in 2008.
Graveside Military Honors will be held at the West Virginia National Cemetery in Pruntytown at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 24. McCulla Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
