Franklin Edward Hillen, 79, of Morgantown, died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2023, at the Stonerise Nursing Center in Kingwood, following a brief illness. Born in Morgantown on May 28, 1944, he was a son of the late Anna Mae Everts.
He had formerly worked as a coal loader at area strip mines.
Surviving is a brother, Allen “Bugs” Hillen, of Morgantown; several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and his friends, neighbors and caregivers, Randy Martin and Connie Bays. Deceased is a brother, Floyd; and a sister, “Inky.”
Friends will be received in the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, on Thursday, from
6-8 p.m.
