William Henry Fletcher, 94, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, Aug. 10, 2023, at home. He was born in Monongalia County, on September 15, 1928, a son of the late Lester A. and Lola M. (Johnson) Fletcher. William retired from Mon Health Medical Center where he worked as a custodian for 22 years. He was a member of the Masontown Nazarene Church. William is survived by one daughter, Polly Sue Fletcher of Kingwood; one brother, David Eugene Fletcher of Delaware; one sister, Shirley Taylor of Tenn.; and a special friend and caregiver, Joann Clark. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Mary (Lancaster) Fletcher; two brothers, Charles and James Fletcher; and two sisters, Mildred Westbrook and infant, Abilena Grace Fletcher. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home on from 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, until the 1 p.m. time of service with Pastor Sam Moon officiating. Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
